NOGENT MIRROR SMASHES 70LB BARRIER!!

News from the lake early this morning Mark Adams fishing on the field bank has banked the mighty 'Nogent Mirror' at 73lb 1oz!!! what an absolute top result and one me and Si have been predicting all season.
Well done Mark, I don't think you'll be forgetting that one for a while, and yet again the last night produces a monster.
This is a landmark fish for CCC being our first 70+ mirror, and the second of our fish to break through the magic 70 barrier this week!!!
These fish have been caught on a week when the fishing has been slow and patchy, due to the sharp drop in water temperature cooling the action over the last few weeks.
Of the fish that have been caught they are mainly all biggies with nearly half being over 50lb, which helps.
We are still hoping for some more surprises and maybe a new lake record, this is when the real fishing starts, bring it on!!
