I drove down to the lake on Saturday and jumped in the --ithouse bay swim with my Son Conor, we were only there till Monday but witnesed the capture of the General's Mate on Saturday Night at around midnight at a whopping 74lb the captor who was blown away to say the least was Dan Warner fishing in the Crescent, nice one Dan there were also 3 x 50's to 59lb out the first day.
Paul Raby got his rod's in straight away on the end of the field swim and was rewarded with a 54lb mirror within minutes, Paul Mceouch who was in the Double had a 59lb Mirror on the first night, with his fishing partner Brett catching a couple of 30's they had more fish on the Sunday night and had fish in front of them when i left.
Alan Derback had a 50+ from New Biffo's and a couple 20's by the time i left.
The guys on the field bank had a few 30's between them so all in all it was looking good for the rest of the week.
I only managed to drop one right at the net but that's dangling for you.
